Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, is important site of Jerusalem view which has plenty of historical precedent.  It rises to the east of the Temple Mount, across from the deep Kidron Valley. Its three peaks  are the Mount of Olives proper, Mount Scopus and the Hill of Evil Counsel. From here the Old City, especially   the Dome of the Rock and  the place , where the Temple of Jerusalem once stood, an be viewed. Here you will find the world's oldest, largest and most famous Jewish cemetery, as well as the greatest concentration of Christian sites outside the Old City. It is also due to the spiritual and historical importance of the area, and the Jewish belief that those buried here will be the first to be raised from the dead at the end of days. 

 On the top of Mount of Olives, near the Seven Arches Hotel, is a remarkable viewing point of Jerusalem view.
