Zion Gate in Jerusalem
The Zion Gate connects Jerusalem's Old City with the Mount Zion area. Serving as an entrance to the Jewish Quarter and the Armenian Quarter, it is one of the active open gates in the Old City Walls. Directly outside the gate are the Dormition Abbey, the Last Supper Room, the Holocaust Basement and other important landmarks. Within the gate, a short walk leads to the Western Wall, Al Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
