Tower of David - David's Citadel
David's Citadel is an ancient Citadel built into the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem. It is also known as the Tower of David or Migdal David. David's Citadel was originally built in the 2nd century BC, and the current structure was completed during the Ottoman Period. Once wrongfully believed to be King David's castle, the David's Citadel is now a popular museum and event venue, and its unique Tower of David is a famous symbol of the city of Jerusalem.
