Supreme Court of Israel in Jerusalem
Israel's Supreme Court is located in a breathtaking, modern building, constructed in the 1990s and overlooking Sacher Park and the Jerusalem neighborhood of Nachlaot. The Supreme Court building was designed by sister-and-brother team Ada and Ram Carmi. Covered in Jerusalem stone, the lobby contains a Kotel- a tribute to the Western Wall- in addition to important and symbolic artwork, mosaics and statues. The Supreme Court of Israel is located adjacent to the Knesset and the Prime Minister's Office, symbolizing the checks and balances of a democratic society.
