Mount Zion in Jerusalem
Mt. Zion is located directly outside the Jerusalem Old City walls, and is home to some of the most important sites in the city. Mentioned in the Old and New Testaments, it holds major importance in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Mount Zion is home to King David's Tomb, the Last Supper Room, Dormition Abbey and the Chamber of the Holocaust. Also on Mt. Zion, the Catholic Cemetery and Protestant Cemetery are both the burial sites of important dignitaries, including Oskar Schindler and Conrad Schick. The Mount of Zion overlooks the Old City of Jerusalem, as well as the modern new city to the west.
