Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Jerusalem

Serving as a Protestant Church since 1893, the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer is owned by German Evangelical Christians. Built on the ruins of the St. Mary Minor Church, the current Lutheran Church of the Redeemer serves as the seat of German Protestant Ministers in the Holy Land. The church was built on land donated by Prussia's King William 1st, and is an important part of Christian culture in the Old City of Jerusalem.
