The Kotel in Jerusalem
The Kotel, or Western Wall, is the final remaining external wall of the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Considered the most holy site in Judaism, the Western Wall Plaza attracts millions of visitors each year, making the pilgrimage to Jerusalem to offer prayers at the holy site. Adjacent to the wall, the Jewish Quarter and Wilson's Arch provide additional attractions to visitors of all faiths. The Kotel is located directly beneath the Temple Mount, the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque.
