Jerusalem in the Bible
Jerusalem is a holy city in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. As such, its place in the Bible, Old Testament, New Testament and Quran is prevalent. Jerusalem has other names in the bible such as Salem however the name “Jerusalem” was mentioned 806 times in the New Testament Bible and 660 times In the Old Testament Bible. The Bible is one of the greatest sources of knowledge regarding the history of Jerusalem in the period between the 10th and 6th century BCE.
