Cinemateque in Jerusalem
The Jerusalem Cinemateque, located adjacent to the Sultan's Pool and Mt. Zion Hotel, is Jerusalem's leading cultural center for film and the location of the renowned Jerusalem Film Festival. Overlooking the Henom valley, the Cinemateque was constructed in 1981 and expanded in 2007. The Jerusalem Cinemateque is also home to the Israeli Film Archive, in addition to the Lavan Bistro, which offers breathtaking views of Mount Zion and the Old City walls.
