Chords Bridge in Jerusalem
The Chords Bridge is a breathtaking cable bridge located at the entrance to Jerusalem. Built for the Jerusalem light rail, it was designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. At 118 meters high, the Chords Bridge (or Strings Bridge) is easily seen from many points in Jerusalem. It is used by the first light rail line, which runs from Mount Herzl to Jerusalem Central Bus Station, Jaffa Road, the Old City and Northern Jerusalem.
